Special Considerations

  1. Five bedrooms, so a soft maximum of five participants. However, one bedroom has two single beds. So, if folks wanted to share a room, we could have up to six participants.

  2. This house stands on a working organic farm. From the description, the fields are being worked, there are cows and calves about, wild turkey, and deer.

  3. It’s unclear how isolated this place is. Dryden is a small, unincorporated town. It has two restaurants: Big Rita’s, which may or may not be a Pizza Hut and serves pizza, burgers, and chili dogs; and Old Dryden Grocery, which is the grocery store but has a little restaurant corner in it. The only grocery stores are the Old Dryden Grocery and a Dollar General. All the towns around it are small towns, too. There’s an IGA a few miles west of Dryden and a Walmart 2 hours east.

  4. This place is about 6 hours from Indianapolis, 5 hours from Columbus.

  5. That oven in the kitchen LOOKS like a wood burner, but it’s actually electric. Just made to LOOK like a wood burner, for aesthetics.

  6. A large, screened-in front porch. But that porch does not stretch the full width of the front of the house.

  7. Lots of parking in the long driveway.

  8. There’s a note that pets are allowed, but the yard is not fully fenced.

  9. Petty good price.
