“But I don’t know Smashwords. I only get books at Amazon. I have a Kindle.” Good for you, on the last point, anyway. Smashwords is the largest book aggregator after Amazon. And they have some aspects Amazon can’t match. You can get your Kindle format books at Smashwords (just choose the .mobi format), but you can also get books in a bunch of other formats. You can get them in .txt, .pdf, .rtf, epub, Sony, even Palm OS, for crying out loud. Take your pick dependent on how you want to read.
